Specimen Notes
Annotation by H. N. Moldenke, 1934: This type collection of Aegiphila obovata Andr. was described by Andrews as having come originally from the West Indies, later cultivated in England. It is very probable, however that the original plants came from Tobago or Trinidad. In this connection see my monograph in Brittonia 1: 393, 1934.
