    Flat, grazed grass savanna near airstrip, with regularly spaced brush-covered ant/termite mounds with Cybistax antisyphilitica, Brosimum gaudichaudii, Curatella americana, Simarouba, on fine recent alluvium.

    Slender, few-branched, 1 m. tall. Leaves and stems purple above. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
