Open sun, roadside. With Agave andina and Carica candicans.

Description
Two women told us that the fruits are sweet and commonly eaten by everyone, and that the plants are not deliberately cultivated but are common in and along the edges of agricultural fields. One woman told us that a tea made from leaves and flowers is used to trat stomach ache and children's diarrhea, and to bring regularity to the menstrual cycle. The Quechua name is "musho." Leave sin desiccant for extraction nucleic acids. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
