With Artemisia tridentata tridentata, Agropyron spicatum, Euphorbia esula and Penstemon erianthus var. redactus. Plants locally common.

Description
Corolla medium clear blue to deep blue-violet. Stems numerous from base and to ca. 0.8 m tall. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
