Description
Herb with stout taproot and spreading procumbent stems occasionally rooting at nodes and ascending and sprawling through tall vegetation, to ca. 1.5 m. leaves very softly hairy, bright green above, white-tomentose beneath, lightly rugose. Flowering stems erect, slender and tenuous. Inflorescence becoming interrupted in fruit; bracteoles and calyx light green with dark red dots on upper lip, the lower lip tinged pink; anthers yellow; filaments and styles white.
