    Sheltered gorge along watercourse. Complex notophyll vineforest. Several hundred big trees over ca. 1.5 ha. On volcanic soil derived from rhyolite.

  • Description

    Tree to 25 m., often multistemmed, DBH to 30 cm.; bark nondescript, pale brown, sometimes slightly lenticellate; blaze pale pink with faint pumpkin scent; wood straw. Foliage discolorous dark glossy green above, grey-cream below, new groth pink; flowers white, showy, faintly sweetly scented, anthers pale yellow, styles pale green; fruit pale green. Three sheets and spirit material at BRI. Type collection. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
