Canada. Newfoundland and Labrador. West Coast. Stephenville Area, near TCH (Hwy.1) at northeast end of large peatland complex, east of Harrys Brook.

Habitat
Low plateau bog. With extensive lawns of Scirpus caespitosis, Sphagnum tenellum, and Odontoschisma sphagni; hummocks of S. fuscum, Gaylussacia baccata, Chamaedaphne, Kalmia, and Juniperus communis. Wooded areas with Sphagnum quinquefarium.
