Riverside, damp sandy soil, sandstone rocks
and partly burnt-over vegetation,
Alt.ca.850m. Approx. 41° 21* W, 13° 01’S.
Very variable in sepal size, shape of
corolla and corolla colour. Sepals tinged
purplish-brown. Corolla usually violet
with darker upper lip with dark purple
veins. Lower lip sometimes white, always
with orange-yellow near throat.
Occasionally flowers white, with orange-
yellow throat.
