  • Habitat

    Campo cerrado (a type of scrubby woodland originally) on upland, or very rarely forest. Open marsh or dense secondary forest ("mata") along the streams. This habitat: on dryish horse-grazed ground at edge of sedge meadow. Open ground on slight slope.

    Fls. golden-yellow. Many plants in local population. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
