Description
Stipe when very young dark magenta (13F6-5), light yellow to pale yellow to corn yellow to amber yellow (4A-B4-3) at base. The deep magenta color disappears with age. Pores are a pale magenta color when young. Hymenophore stains brown when bruised. Pileus is near a dark violet (15 F5-4) when very young. NH4: a pale yellow on pileus.
