Montane cloud forest. Quercus seemannii. Gregarious. On leaf litter.

Description
Pileus 2-4 cm broad, convex to plano-convex, dry, finely velutinous, reddish brown (8E8) fading to light brown (6D8). Flesh white, unchanging, up to 2 mm thick, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, extremely crowded, narrow, pale pinkish brown with brown marginate edges. Stipe 4-9.5 cm long, 3-5 cm broad, equal, dry, concolorous with pileus, setulose under a lens, arising from an ochraceous buff mycelium on substrate; interior hollow. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
