  • Description

    Stem solitary, 3 m tall, 9 cm diam, covered at top with persistent leaf sheaths. Leaves 14, petiole 42 cm, rachis 85 cm with 55 pinnae per side, irregularly spaced in groups of 2-many. Inflorescences erect, interfoliar, with staminate and pistillate flowers in triads (protandrous?). Other inflorescences with staminate flowers only. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
