  • Description

    Palm, 4-6 m tall, solitary, dbh 6 cm. Leaves pinnate, rachis 3 m long, petiole green clasping trunk. Pinnae ca 98-100 per side, irregularly arranged in groupings of 3-6 at various angles. Inflorescence subtended by a 1 degree bract 1 m long and 2 degree bract 3 cm wide. Panicle 1 m long with 5 rachillae. Fruits "pear-shaped", 3.5 cm long by 2 cm wide, green, undeveloped. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
