  • Description

    Tree, 15 m x 12 cm, bark flaky. Inflorescences ramiflorous. Flowers without fragrance; calyx completely encloses flower in bud, splits irregularly into four parts; corolla of one yellow petal; stamens of two types: incurved long ones with large anthers (borne in same orientation as pistil), and erect shorter ones with smaller anthers, all anthers dehisce, but longer stamens fall away earlier than short, erect ones; pistil with a glabrous gynophore, white sericeous ovary, and glabrous style.
