According to literature attached to the specimen sheet: "In Herb. Benth. `Oakanagan and Priests Rapids, Jnt. of the Columbia Douglas.' There is a duplicate in Herb. Hook. All seven pieces are alike in being closely minutely puberulent on lvs. and stems, becoming glandular in the inflorescence; calyx-lobes alike in all, not white-edged."
