Description
Pileus 3-4.5 cm broad, plane to uplifted, dry, heavily tomentose on disc, areolate-tomentose at margin, sulcate at margin, dark gray. Flesh white, with mild odor, unchanging when exposed. Lamellae free, close, white, unchanging, with fimbriate edges. Stipe 3-4.5 cm long, 5-9 mm broad, dry, white, granulose to farinose, equal to gradually broader below. Volval material dark gray above, pale gray below, with a barely distinctive limb, heavily farinose to tomentose. Gregarious. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
