    Plants perennial, with dead leaves persistent on caudex branches; leaf surfaces ± glabrous, the prominent marginal cilia mostly simple, to 1 mm long; stems pubescent with bifurcate and simple trichomes; petals yellow; styles to 1 mm long; fruits with stalked, branched hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
