United States of America. Colorado. Ouray Co. Along CO 62, 11 miles west of junction of CO 62 & US 550 near Ridgway, at Dallas Divide, east of Placerville.

Habitat
In pasture adjacent to scenic overlook near top of Dallas Divide. Growing with Artemisia, Melilotus, Cirsium and other weedy taxa. Common but scattered. Rocky, brown soil.

Older plants rhizomatous. 0.5-2.0 ft. tall. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
