Primary forest on parts of terra firme where Guadua sarcocarpa is beginning to dominate, approx. 11 years after dieback. Rare.

shrub. Unbranched shrub 1 m, inflorescence terminal, corolla pale green, anthers yellow. On mild slope. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
