  • Habitat

    On tops of ironstone hills, even where capped with brown sand. Locally abundant.

  • Description

    20 ft. tre, 4 inches diameter (grows to 60 ft. and 12 inches diameter); rarely grows straight or cylindrical, usually twisted and fluted and adventitious shoots are common. Leaves finely divided, rhomboidal; flowers cauliflorous, bunched, white, sweet-scented, on stem below leaves, to within 8-10 ft. off the ground. Vern. name Uriridan.
