    Moist soil of bar ditch along road. Moist shady woods on both sides, with Tilia, Acer negundo, Robinia, Acer, Nyssa, Quercus (red), Liriodendron.

    Erect herbs, some reaching 1.5 meters high, from branching taproot, flowers blue, many plants apparently eaten off about 30 cm from ground, perhaps by deer. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
