Habitat
A dry wash through gently sloping valley of Mairana. Remnant dry forest of Schinopsis haenkeana, Prosopis alba.

Description
Slender young tree 4 m tall, 4 cm in diameter. Flowers hanging; bracts yellow-green, just a little lighter than the underside of the leaves; open flower face a slightly darker shade of yellow-green.
