Description
subshrub. [Note in pencil, by N. L. Britton:] But much nearer to specimens of R. Pearce from Puente Grande and Quichara, which differ only in smaller involucre and belong to this species. Near Mathews, Peru, Chachapoyas, No. 1381, differs in glabrous, acute leaves, etc. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
