Habitat

Mature wet forest that receives ca. 8800 mm rainfall annually.

Description

Epiphyte. Pedicels, calyx, and basal 1/3 of corolla dark, bright red; upper 2/3 of corolla red. Corolla swollen in lower 1/3. [Pickled]. Plants pretreated with EtOH.
