Habitat
Northeastern deciduous forest. Under aspen, pine, & hemlock. Scattered. On soil.

Description
Pileus 3-5 cm broad, subtomentose to velutinous, dry 4D5 (light olive brown), 5D6 on disc when older. Flesh not staining, but faintly so in oldest basidiome.. Tubes lemon yellow (2A7), not staining, Stipe white with brown puntae (young), developing into ridges with age. Very fine punctae visible on older basidiomata when dried. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
