United States of America. California. Mono Co. Glass Mountain Region: Dry meadow along 4WD road from Clover Patch, leading up to peak 3094, appx. 200m west of turnoff to Kelty Meadows. (Watterson Canyon quad).

Habitat
Small dry grazed meadow in Artemisia tridentata scrub. 10° E-facing slope of fine silty pumice soil. Dominated by Carex douglasii, with Muhlenbergia richardsonis, Castilleja pilosis, Eriogonum spergulinum, Achnatherum nevadensis, Rumex pauciflorus, Chenopodium. Occasional around meadow margins.
