Shrub/treelet to 2.5 m x 2.5 cm; bark
smoothish, mottled shades of grey and
white, twisty stems; coriaceous, semi-
succulent leaves held erect (many of
these leaving a white powdery deposit on
drying); flowers greenish; fruits
yellowish orange; arils white.
