  • Description

    Herb to 1.5 m. with short horizontal rhizome and single erect stem with inflated glaucous internodes above. Branches slender apparently never inflated. Lvs. aromatic, light green, paler beneath, lightly rugose with undulate margin. Calyx purple-tinged. Corolla pale outside, bright sky glue within, with paler area at base of upper lip with pattern of dark blue lines. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
