Habitat
Roadside behind dunes near mangrove zone. Remnants of beach vegetation with Tournefortia gnaphaloides, Coccoloba uvifera, Ipomoea pes-caprae.

Description
Forming colonies of slender-stemmed shrubs to 2 m. tall. Corolla appears white, but really very pale violet. Fruit mostly held erect, bright orange, often remaining on plant, turning brown and shriveling. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
