    High restinga forest with intermittent low restinga with flooded areas, overlying with sand.

  • Description

    Spindly-stemmed erect orchid, with fleshy mid-green leaves. Flowers with outer tepals spreading coral-red with pink sheeh, paler on outer surface. Labellum and rostellum similar colour, but more orange. Labellum with two lobes and ridge bright orange, orange-red near base with pattern of red dots. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
