Description
Pileus 13 cm broad, plane, slippery when wet, rugulose at margin otherwise slightly uneven to even, matted subtomentose, brown (6E7). Flesh white to pale pink, 2 cm thick, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Tubes deeply depressed around stipe, yellow (3A6), unchanging, with pores concolorous and unchanging when bruised, <=2 per mm. Stipe 11 cm long, 2.5 cm broad, ±equal but curved, dry, yellow at apex, faintly scabrous on a pale gray brown ground color, becoming yellow below and white at the base, with interior white and unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
