Habitat
Steep slopes on massive red sandstone and shale. Forest with Tipuana tipu, some converted to grassy savanna-like pasture. Steep patured grassland.

Description
Weak herbs with decumbent stems. Dead leaves persisting for some time on stem. Phyllaries leaf green (i.e. somewhat yellow-green); flowers yellow-green, inconspicuous.
