Description
tree, 35 ft. x 8 inches. 8 inches x 35 feet, leaning tree with grey bark and smooth alternate ovolanceolate 1.5-2.5 leaves, indented at tip; flowers 2/3 inch with 4 recurved crimson green-tipped sepals; 5 slender crimson petals attached to rim of calyx cup; 4 stamens and 1 staminoide, curved, crimson, united at base, arising from edge of calyx cup; ovary bivalved, fruit a pod to 3 inches. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
