Swampy depression in wet savanna. Locally frequent.

Description
Tree to 2.5-3.5 m. tall. Leaves at apex of trunk. Bark peeling into "majagua" strips. Leaves coriaceous, dark green above, aple green below. Fruit sessile, pale green, subglobose, fleshy. Flowers pale green. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
