Description
Stem, subterranean to 6 cm. diameter. Leaves 1-2 per plant, up to 1.5 m. long but usually shorter. Leaflets variable in texture and shape. Male cones light brown, small, 3-4 cm. long with peduncle 1-3 cm. long. Female cones dark red, to 10 cm. long, peduncle 10 cm. long. Seeds red. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
