Description
Prostrate herbaceous vine with central root-rhizome system, not rooting at nodes, a weed in gently sloping black-soil field planted to beans for wildlife food. Flowers erect, varying in color, from white with yellow center to midribs purple on outside, to corolla all pinkish on inside, open (1:30 P. M., sunny dry day). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
