    In canyon on west-facing sandstone ledge, wettish but not seepy site. With Solidago, Frasera, Hymenopappus filifolius, Heterotheca villosa-like, Oenothera (tall, big yellow-flowered), Artemisia tridentata, Cirsium rydbergii, Equisetum hiemale, Salix sp, S. exigua, Helianthella microcephala, Pseudotsuga menziesii, Yucca angustissima, Ostrya knowltonii, Rhus trilobata, Rosa woodsii, Shepherdia rotundifolia.
