Habitat
Very disturbed forest/Higrófila Sul Bahaina. Common in understory.

Description
Treelets to 2m tall, unbranched or with few orthotropic lateral branches. Leaves rather stiff, green above, yellowish green below. Calyx creamy white; corolla creamy, quite actinomorphic. In a given inflorescence only 1-2 flowers open at a time. Plants just beginning to flower, most in bud. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
