Habitat
Area surrounding pond, wet at times. With Quercus phellos, Quercus virginiana, Vaccinium corymbosum, Cephalanthus, Hypericum. Not common.

Description
Tree, 15 m. tall, 3-5 dm. d.b.h., bark grooved, cones on stem open. Sample part: (LV, TW), (ST, CO) RT, BK. NCI CODE 0GDK2364, 2365, 2366, 2367. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
