On grazed flats-slopes along the arroyo. With Acacia, Yucca, Opuntia, Fraxinus, Quercus, Ptelea, Cercis, etc.

Flowers lavender-blue, tube white at base with maroon stripes down the tube, anthers white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
