    On rocky, granitic roadbank and wash below aspen forest. Common.

  • Description

    Corollas pale red-violet, darker violet towards base, or uniformly dark red-violet; staminode white; anthers dark blue-black, the abaxial pair exserted right at the mouth; nectar with a sweet fragrance. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
