Steep rocky slopes. With shrubland of Clusia lechleri, Agarista boliviensis, and patches of forest, at the first set of communication antennas.

Description
Shrub 2.5 m tall. Inflorescence erect. Fruit yellow-green but mostly wine-red to purple on the insolated side. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
