Description
Large tree, 30 to 50 m. high; leaves descendingly recurved, rather stiff, coriaceous, dark green above, lighter beneath, smooth on both sodes; petiole and midrib occasionally reddish; flowers 2 to 3 inches across, the 5 rotately spreading petals light creamy white, deciduous as a whole; stamens numerous, persistent upon the base of the corolla; the filaments yellowish, their anthers 1 inch long, strict and linear, 5-sided; For complete description see label.
