Panama. Chiriquí. Fortuna Dam area, along road to Chiriquí Grande, N of the dam, between Quebrada Cristalina and Quebrada Nelson.

Habitat

Steep slopes along road. Common.

Description

Terrestrial shrub, in open areas, to 2.5 m tall. Young immature fruits green. Berry becoming purple. Common. [DNA; fruit pickled].
