Habitat
Sloping terrain, mostly pine and palm savannah on upland (igneus derived alluvium), grading into flood-plain forest toward river. Flood plain forest last disturbed in 1959, Attalea cohune common.

Tree or shrub 6-9 m tall, sap milky; leaves spotty yellow, flowers yellow, fruit green.
