Habitat
Dense shrubby cerrado: small tree & shrubs 1-3 m. tall, spaced 1-6 m. apart, plus a few scattered taller trees.

Description
Shrub 2.5 m. tall. Buds white, tinged with pinkish-red. open fls. with white petals tinged with pink. Filaments white; anthers white, then turning cream. Style white with pink-red band just below stigma. Stigma white. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
