m. /1160 ft. Site description/habitat: Scattered along trail in mature and
trimmed chaparral. Assoc, taxa: Malosma laurina, Artemisia californica,
Bromus diandrus, Ceanothus megacarpus, Ceanothus spinosus, Centaurea
melitensis, Adenostomafasciculatum, Sambucus nigra ssp. caerulea. Notes:
~100 plants in late flower and fruit; flowers pink and drying closed, one
plant with flowers drying yellow; 0.75-5m tall; a few plants with clear
rhizome sprouts; Calflora cbo91082.
