with wiry stems, probably mowed here, otherwise taller (?), with
Lolvum arundinaceum, Oenothera speciosa, O. lapiniata, Daucus
carota, Lespedeza cuneata on open, gravelly-clay hilltop below
major powerline crossing, northwest edge of Riverbanks Botanical
Garden parking area and 230m southwest of Saluda River; West
Columbia; 34.0092° *81.0835°. Persisting from nearby cultivation?
Collected here previously (Nelson 39521, USCH) in
2018.. .probably been here longer than that.
