Habitat
Steep, south-facing slope; among rock outcrops. With Juniperus osteosperma, Juniperus scopulorum, Pinus flexilis, and Pseudotsuga menziesii.

Description
Four trees present, two with ovulate cones and two smaller trees without. Specimens of individual trees are labelled 95-1 through 95-4; cones collected from specimens are labelled as corresponding to collections 95-2 or 95-4. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
