    United States of America. California. Mono Co. Glass Mountain Region: Small wet meadow 2 km due northeast from Glass Mountain Peak. Accessible by 4WD road running SW from FS Road 1S01 (Road to Sawmill Meadow). (Glass Mountain quad).

  • Habitat

    Small springfed wet meadow on fine pumice alluvium, dominated by Eleocharis, Carex, Juncus. Evidently heavily grazed with many hoof-packed muddy areas. With Achillea millefolium, Veratrum californicum, Mimulus primuloides, Stellaria longipes, Sphenosciadium capitellatum, and closely encroaching dense forest of Pinus contorta and Populus tremuloides. Common, scattered in meadow and margins.
